Gentle enough that some patients fall asleep in the chair.

Dr. Landon Pincombe and his team, in a century-old brick building on Franklin Street. Family dentistry, Invisalign, implants and sedation options, with early appointments before the Ottawa commute.

Before work, not instead of it

Appointments start at 7:30 am, Monday to Thursday, so a cleaning doesn't cost you a half day.

Nervous? Say so

Gentle dentistry is the point here. Ask about nitrous oxide or prescription relaxants, and Dr. Pincombe will talk through every option first.

The whole family

Positive first visits for kids, sport guards for the hockey bag, and the same faces at the front desk year after year.

Smiles you'll want to show

Invisalign, whitening, bonding, veneers and implants, all with advanced training behind them.

Meet Dr. Pincombe

Dr. Landon Pincombe, B.Sc., D.M.D.

"What I love most about my job is the opportunity to get to know my patients and use my skill set as a dentist to help others."

Born and raised in Saskatchewan, Dr. Pincombe graduated with great distinction from the University of Saskatchewan (B.Sc. Physiology 2003, D.M.D. 2007), practised in Saskatoon and at Carlingwood Dental in Ottawa, and took over Cornerstone in January 2017 from Dr. Cameron Ellis, who had served Carleton Place for more than thirty years. Outside the clinic he's outdoors with his wife and their four young boys.

A cornerstone for more than a century

The practice sits in a historic brick building that has been part of downtown Carleton Place for over a hundred years. Free parking on the surrounding streets; some have a two-hour limit, some have none.

A first visit they'll brag about

Good habits start young. We make sure the first visit is a positive one, so your kids grow up with a dentist they're happy to see.

A note from Tech Loop

Why we built this concept for Cornerstone Dental

A 4.9 from 44 Google reviews, patients who've stayed for ten years, 7:30 am appointments and a dentist trained in implants and Invisalign, on a 2019 site whose top bar reads "[email protected]" instead of an email address. People choosing a dentist in Carleton Place compare three or four practices on their phones. Yours should be the obvious call.

What we found on cornerstonedentalcp.com

  • The top bar shows the literal text "[email protected]" where your email should be, on every device, and the button beside it reads "Make An Appoinment"
  • On a phone, the contact block, logo and doctor's name fill the first screen before anything about care appears
  • The hero is a stock photo of dental handpieces, not your bright reception or the brick building
  • Your 4.9 rating isn't anywhere on the site; the Testimonials and Smile Gallery sections are switched off, and the code behind them still holds template placeholder text
  • Twelve services hide behind "Read More" links; footer still says © 2019

What this concept changes

  • Reassurance first: a headline from your own copy ("some patients have even fallen asleep") and four reasons to choose you
  • Book Now in the header, the hero, the booking section and a sticky bar on phones, the way Tend does it
  • Your 4.9 and real Google reviews right under the hero
  • Every service in one plain sentence; Invisalign and implants highlighted
  • Dr. Pincombe's story, credentials and the whole team, plus the building and street parking

What's included

  • This concept was free. The full site is one fixed price: design, build and launch on cornerstonedentalcp.com
  • Appointment requests to the front desk inbox, with your email address shown properly
  • Built from your own photos: the reception, the building, the team (the images here are placeholders)
  • Google Business Profile tidy-up: hours, photos, booking link, services
  • Simple editing for hours and team changes, with hosting and updates for the first year

Design cues from the best in your field

Before drawing this we studied Tend, one of the most admired dental brands in North America. Their homepage leads with reassurance ("no judgment", "a softer touch"), repeats Book Now in the header, the hero and the feature sections, shows services as tiles, puts five-star reviews from real patients right on the page, and keeps hours, financing and comfort perks as short bullets. This concept follows that structure with your own words, your own reviews and your building.
