Rows of apple trees in autumn with a bushel basket of red apples
Now picking · October

Apple season is on.

Pick your own in the orchard or grab a ready-picked bag at the market. Honeycrisp, Ambrosia, Spy and more, plus the fall vegetables that go with them.

This week at the market

Come for the apples, stay for the sheep

A family farm market on Nottawasaga Concession 10, ten minutes from Collingwood and Blue Mountain.

Apples in the orchard

Grab a bag and head down the rows. Varieties change through the fall, so ask what's at its best this week. Come before late October for the widest choice.

Fall vegetables & preserves

Root vegetables, beans and whatever came in that morning, picked on our own 900 acres. Pricing is posted at the stand.

The sheep and the rest of the farm crew are right by the market. Say hello while the apples get weighed.

A few things worth knowing

  • Pick-your-own is apples only. Strawberries and other produce are ready-picked at the stand.
  • The orchard is a working farm. Wear shoes you don't mind getting muddy.
  • Groups and school visits are welcome. Call ahead so we can set up.
  • The animals love visitors but have their own food. Please don't feed them.

Our farm

Four generations, nine hundred acres, one market stand

Maxwell Acres started in 1989, growing out of what was once Meesters Farms. Today the family farms more than 900 acres between Annan and Collingwood, and the market on Concession 10 is where it all comes together.

Everything on the stand was grown by us or by a neighbour we trust, and the people weighing your apples are usually the ones who picked them.

Why we built this concept for Maxwell Acres

You have 59 Google reviews at 4.6 stars, 955 people following the farm on Instagram, and an owner who replies to reviews. Right now, anyone who taps the website link on your Google listing gets an error page. In apple season.

maxwellacresltd.comThe domain on your Google Business Profile shows a Wix "This domain isn't connected to a site" page.
maxwellappleorchards.comYour older domain returns a Cloudflare error (526, invalid certificate) instead of the site.
CheckedOctober 14, 2026, from two separate connections.

What the old site was missing anyway

  • The "Where You Can Find Us" section was empty
  • No hours, no photos of the market or the orchard, no sense of what's in season
  • Social links that weren't wired to your accounts
  • Nothing for the Blue Mountain weekend crowd searching "apple picking near Collingwood" on a Saturday morning

What this concept changes

  • A "now picking" card that you update in one line as the season moves
  • A harvest calendar so people plan their visit around what they want
  • Hours, address, directions and a tap-to-call number in one card
  • Your Instagram feed on the page, so the site stays fresh without you touching it
  • Built for a phone in a car on the way up Highway 26

What's included

  • Fix the domain and get a real site live on maxwellacresltd.com within days
  • Design, build and launch, with photos of your actual orchard and stand (the images here are placeholders)
  • Google Business Profile tidy-up: hours, seasonal hours, photos, correct website link
  • Simple editing so you can change the "now picking" line yourself
  • Hosting and updates for the first year
