Our own knowledgeable staff, combined with a long-standing network of skilled tradespeople and suppliers, is how we keep the workmanship consistent from the first framing nail to the last coat of paint.

Thinking about a build or a renovation can be daunting. Give us a call, we'll sit down with you, and we'll find the innovative, functional way to get your space built or renovated.

Reviews

In their words

"We are elated with the work that Don and Luke did for our master bath. They were extremely professional and knew exactly what they were doing. Even when we threw them curve balls, they manoeuvred great and thought on their feet to problem solve and get the job done in a short time frame. Dan was great in overseeing the quality of the work and Jen managed the timeline of the job right from the start. They offered great suggestions and there were no surprises with the bill."

Master bathroom renovation

"We were very impressed with the professional, conscientious work that Dan did for us on all our home renovation projects. No job was too big or too small and Dan was always happy to help and provided good ideas and suggestions. A great experience for us from start to finish. We would highly recommend that you give Dan a call."

A note from Tech Loop

Why we built this concept for Valley Home Improvements

A perfect 5.0 on Google, Tarion registration, two decades of work and a screw-pile division most builders would kill for, behind a website that browsers flag as "Not secure" and a projects page that says "Coming Soon". People pricing a $40,000 renovation look you up first. Right now the site doesn't back up the reviews.

What we found on valleyhomeimprovements.ca

  • Served over plain HTTP only: Chrome shows "Not secure" beside your name, and some browsers show an error page instead of the site
  • "Featured Projects: Coming Soon…" and a portfolio of numbered thumbnails with no descriptions, on a builder's website
  • A 2000s-era template: cursive headline over a slideshow, a boxed welcome paragraph, a tiny testimonial bubble
  • The 5.0 Google rating, Tarion, the HBA memberships and Energy Star only appear as small logos at the bottom of the About page
  • The estimate form makes people type a CAPTCHA word, and the phone number isn't tappable on desktop or sticky on a phone

What this concept changes

  • Secure, fast, one page: what you build, proof you build it well, and a free-estimate form, in that order
  • Tarion, the HBA and the 5.0 rating in a trust band right under the hero where a homeowner looks for them
  • Services grouped into Build / Renovate / Exterior / Structure so a visitor finds their job in five seconds
  • A real projects section and a Postech Screw Piles section, because nobody else in Markdale can offer that
  • A sticky call / estimate bar on phones, and an estimate form that mirrors the questions you already ask

What's included

  • This concept was free. The full site is one fixed price: design, build and launch on valleyhomeimprovements.ca with HTTPS
  • We pull your job photos off the phone, the Instagram account and the crew's camera rolls and build the projects page from them
  • Estimate requests go to info@ and to a text, with a copy to you
  • Google Business Profile tidy-up: photos, services, service area
  • Simple editing so the office can add a project in five minutes, with hosting and updates for the first year
